Custom Made Orders
We will be pleased to quote you for custom made jewellery. Just email us with your requirements: If we have custom-made a piece of jewellery to fit a specific size, or with different colours or design from those shown on our site, we do not normally offer a refund for any reason other than faulty or damaged goods. Please contact us first if you feel you need to return anything for any other reason. All items can be made up to fit a specific size, we ask that you state this on your order if necessary. The pictures on the website give a good representation of the items, but remember that markings of stone will vary slightly due to their being a natural substance.
Privacy Policy
Unique Beaded Gems are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We will never send information about you to any third party.
We use PayPal's Shopping Cart system. As soon as you confirm your order, you will be taken to PayPal's own secure site where you can complete your purchase. Unique Beaded Gems does not see your card details at any time. Please note you do not need a PayPal account to use our shopping cart!

Delivery Charges and Postal Information for UK Orders
For security, we always send orders with a value up to £34 by Royal Mail first class recorded delivery which will need a signature. Orders with a value over £34 are sent Special Delivery, which includes insurance up to £500 and next day delivery.
Our postage and packing charges are based on the value of your order. Standard post and packing will be added automatically to your order at Checkout.
Returns
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any problems once it arrives, please let me know. I will be happy to replace any goods that are unsatisfactory, but please contact me within 48 hours of delivery.
Goods are packaged carefully, but in the unlikely event that you receive anything damaged, please return within 7 days of receipt for replacement. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, you may return any item (except custom-made) for any reason within 7 days of receiving it, provided that it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging. Please obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office and ensure your name and address are enclosed together with the reason for your return. The cost of your item will be refunded on receipt of the item but not the return postage cost. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure items for return are packaged securely, especially for items in gift boxes which could be crushed if not protected. If we receive a item for return which has been damaged due to poor packaging (this includes the gift box), an amount will be deducted from the refund to cover the damage.
If an item is returned to use because no-one was there to receive it, and has not been collected from the Post Office within the time state on their card, we will ask you to pay the postage charge again for us to re-send it.
Under no circumstances can earrings be refunded unless faulty, due to hygiene regulations
Overseas Customers
PayPal will charge a flat-rate post and packing charge which applies to the UK only. If you live outside the UK, please do NOT use the Shopping Cart, Please email us with your order. We will then add the correct amoutn of extra postage for shipping to your country, and send you a PayPal invoice.
